Truly An Engaging STEM Event!

For the third year in a row, the STEM Showcase was held at Han Chiang High School. The two-day event attracted more than 10,000 visitors of all ages, all eager to learn more about the limitless world of STEM. During the opening ceremony, YB Jagdeep Singh Deo and YB Tuan Chang Lih Kang were invited as VIPs, and they each gave powerful speeches highlighting the importance of STEM.

 

In the main hall, technological companies such as Intel, Jabil, Analog Devices, and many others set up booths and had the opportunity to present their latest cutting-edge technologies to the public. Additionally, classrooms were utilized for hands-on STEM workshops, such as Introduction to Robotics and Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, to spark interest in STEM among younger students, particularly primary school students.

 

On Day 1 of the event, excited students from 54 schools across Penang participated. Judging by the smiles on their faces, it is safe to say that many of them enjoyed exploring the wonders of STEM and had a great time throughout the day. On Day 2, many parents brought their children to the event voluntarily, reflecting a growing recognition of the importance of STEM in our daily lives.
